MLG Giveaway – Official Rules

These Official Rules (“Rules”) apply to all giveaways operated by MLG Canada (“MLG”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By participating in any MLG giveaway, you agree to be bound by these Rules and by any additional terms posted on the specific giveaway page.

1. Sponsor

All giveaways are sponsored by:

MLG Canada Canada

2. Eligibility

Giveaways are open only to legal residents of Canada who have reached the age of majority in their province or territory of residence at the time of entry.

Employees, contractors, officers, directors, and immediate family members of MLG are not eligible to win.

Void where prohibited by law.

3. No Purchase Necessary

No purchase is necessary to enter or win.

Purchasing a membership, subscription, or any other product or service does not increase your chances of winning.

4. How to Enter

Participants may obtain entries in a giveaway through one or more of the following methods, as specified on the giveaway page:

Free Entry (AMOE – Alternate Method of Entry)

Loyalty-based activities

Membership benefits, where applicable

Details for each entry method are clearly described on the giveaway page. All entry methods are treated equally.

5. Odds of Winning

Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received for the applicable giveaway.

6. Prizes

Prize details, including descriptions, approximate retail value (ARV), and any conditions or limitations, are disclosed on the individual giveaway page.

Prizes are non-transferable and may not be substituted or exchanged, except at MLG’s sole discretion if a prize becomes unavailable.

7. Winner Selection and Notification

Winners are selected by random draw from all eligible entries received before the giveaway closing date.

Selected entrants will be contacted using the contact information associated with their MLG account.

To be declared a winner, selected entrants must:

Correctly answer a skill-testing question (where required by law)

Comply with all verification requirements

Sign any required declarations or releases

If a selected entrant does not respond within the stated time frame, fails to meet eligibility requirements, or declines the prize, an alternate winner may be selected.

8. Taxes

Winners are solely responsible for any applicable taxes, duties, or fees associated with prize acceptance or use.

9. General Conditions

MLG reserves the right to:

Disqualify any participant who tampers with the entry process or violates these Rules

Cancel, suspend, or modify a giveaway if it cannot be conducted as planned due to technical issues, fraud, or other causes beyond reasonable control

Interpret and apply these Rules at its sole discretion, subject to applicable law

All decisions made by MLG regarding giveaways are final and binding.

10. Limitation of Liability

By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless MLG from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from participation in a giveaway or acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize, except as prohibited by law.

11. Privacy

Personal information collected in connection with a giveaway is used solely for administering the giveaway and in accordance with MLG’s Privacy Policy.

12. Governing Law

These Rules are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles.
